Phoneware Partners With Cisco For HCS Migrations

Phoneware Limited announced today that Phoneware and Cisco Advanced Services (AS) have signed a Professional Services Subcontractor (PSS) agreement.  Under the PSS agreement, Cisco will be able to engage Phoneware as a valued Unified Communication cloud migration partner under an AS subcontract to assist in on-boarding customers to its cloud based Hosted Collaboration Solution (HCS).

The agreement is designed to support Cisco’s HCS partners and large enterprises to migrate existing on-premises telecommunications solutions to Cisco’s cloud-based HCS platform.  Phoneware will use a combination of its established software solutions and newly developed utilities to extract data from existing telephone systems, transforming it into a format for easy bulk loading into the HCS platform.

“Our new migration solution can cut time, costs and errors when migrating systems from legacy PBX systems such as Avaya and Nortel to HCS,” said Philip Maguire, President of Phoneware. “We will work with Cisco and their Partners to deliver a rapid migration service, ensuring a smooth transition to their new cloud-based HCS service.”
